We used a 3-day product drop strategy that stacked excitement, urgency, and story, all sent through email, and banked $7.5K in a day without paid ads or discounts.

Here’s how to copy it.

The Warm-Up (1-2 Days Before Drop)

Goal: Build anticipation and tease the product.

What to send:

  • A “Something's coming...” teaser email

  • Show close-up sneak peeks or behind-the-scenes content

  • Highlight why this drop matters (limited run? New design? High demand?)

Pro tip: Don’t include a CTA. You’re building curiosity, not driving traffic…yet.

Scarcity Follow-Up (Same Day, Later)

Goal: Capture the people who opened but didn’t buy.

What to send:

  • A short “Low Stock” or “Almost Gone” email

  • Mention what’s actually happening (“Only 32 left” or “XX% sold”)

  • Add a customer review or a benefit-focused reminder

Timing: Send 6–8 hours after the drop email to clean up the stragglers.

Launch Day (Drop Email)

Goal: Drive the first wave of purchases.

What to include:

  • A bold “It's here” subject line

  • Product images + 1-2 key benefits

  • Social proof if you have it (“waitlist of 1,400 people” / “selling fast”)

  • Strong CTA button above the fold: “Shop the Drop Now”

Avoid: Long storytelling here. Keep it action-driven.
